1. Who we are

Tutrivo is software for UK tutoring agencies. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Tutrivo. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@tutrivo.co.uk.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers:

Inside the Tutrivo platform, each tutoring agency decides what information it holds about its own tutors, families and students. For that information the agency is the data controller and Tutrivo is its data processor: we only use it to provide the service, on the agency's instructions. If you're a parent, student or tutor, please contact your agency about your information first.

3. Information we collect

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts and some photographs from Unsplash. When you visit, your browser sends a request to them, which includes your IP address.

5. Who we share information with

We use trusted suppliers to run Tutrivo:

Agencies can request our data processing agreement and list of sub-processors at hello@tutrivo.co.uk.

We never sell personal information. Where a supplier processes personal information outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 12 months unless you become a customer. Customer records are kept for as long as you use Tutrivo, and then for six years to meet UK legal and accounting obligations.

7. How we protect it

Access inside the platform is limited by role and enforced on our servers. Each agency's data is kept separate. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and connections are encrypted.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email hello@tutrivo.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
